The damn thing is stuck on there how can I get the rear brake drum off? I tried prying it but thats no good, hitting it with a hammer isn't working what should I try? Heating it with a torch? any help would be appreciated!!!Thanks

Usually it's corrosion where the studs go through the drum. Going from different angles with the hammer should eventually work. You could try some penetrating oil at the studs (Coca Cola works sometimes too) and let it work in before using the hammer.

(no insult intended, but one time I had my emergency brake on....)

I've also heard in extreme cases that you can slowly lower the vehicle to the pavement onto the drum, and let the weight of the vehicle do the work.
