Ok, what does everyone think.... I can see how it works and It seems like a pretty good deal. Especially for me with all my electronic gizmos and hi-output alternator

A total waste of your money. Designed and "engineered" by someone as a means to liberate dollars from your pocket without fear of jail time. Legalized theft, in other words. By accessorizing the ground (non-insulated) side of the circuit, you've guaranteed that there are no problems that could set codes or lead to other unintended problems. In short, this was produced with the intent of doing nothing. A get-rich quick scheme.
Are you getting the idea yet?
Perform a voltage drop test on any accessory you would choose to connect to that "grounding kit" and see if there's any actual ground-circuit resistance. If there is, you can clean the ground and make the resistance go away with a tiny investment in labor. If there isn't, you have just proved that the GM engineer knew what he was doing in the first place.
