I changed the motor in my 94 metro. the old 1.0L had served faithfully for 200K miles but broke the crank pully mounting bolts and damaged the keyway and jumped time. i transferred the intake and exhaust manifolds and the distributor because the new motor was a carb version and mine was fuel injected. the harness is all hooked up with no wires left over but the new motor will not fire up. I have no power to the coil and ignition, fuel pump, or any of the dash warning lights. the headlights, brakelights and interior lights all work. no power to the turn signals or wipers. all the fuses and fusible links I can find are good. looking for suggestions as to where to look for the fault.

Well is simple go and trace the voltage from the fuse box to the ignition key and see where the voltage stops it shouldn t be hard , there s no magic bullet to solve this problem.
Also check the connectors from the fuse panel ,wipers and signal goes thru a connector right in there.

also make sire ground wires are all hooked up, there is one that goes behind window washer bottle and another one that bolts to intake by throttle body, if those arn't connected you will have no spark or fuel
