Vat Key for my 2000?

Hi again! Do all 2000 Taurus's have the coded Vats keys? I haven't tried to copy a normal key yet but I thought I'd save a step if they are coded. Thanks again!

Yes, all 2000 and up have PATS transonder keys. They must be programmed, and need at least 2 working programmed vehicle keys to program a third or fourth. If you only have on, you must get a dealer to program the second key, and it costs about $40 plus the key ($20) on ebay.
