Chevy Lumina 90 Euro Help!!!

Ok I think my car ran out of water...so I must have burned out my engine and then when I tried to start it...it started knocking.I tired putting water in it but all the water came out from under the car...and now the car won't start...it keeps stalling...so what do you think I should do???

check and make sure the radiator hoses are all connected, make sure u didnt somehow destroy the water pump. check all that stuff first

ok and say I need a new head gasket and water pump...how much would you think the total cost would be plus labor???

Since the engine started knocking, just doing the upper end and water pump probably isn't going to help. You probably ruined at least one crank journal, so you're looking at a complete engine rebuild, which will cost way more than the car is worth.
