I recently posted a question about a hard starting dodge ram. The general info. I got was the fuel pressure may be low. My question is: How do I check the fuel pressure on a 1995 Dodge ram 5.2 liter? Where do I make the connection and what type of guage do I need? What pressure should I expect?

There should be a test port on the driver side fuel rail. Remove the cap and install a fuel pressure gauge(you can get on at any auto parts place. I am going through a similar problem right now but I have no pressure and I am almost 100%positive it is my fuel pump. I think if I remember correctly the book said your pressure should be about 35-45 psi, I will try to double check that if I can remember.

Thanks for the reply. I'll be at the parts store picking up a pressure gauge. I have checked everything I can think of i.e. starter relay, throttle body, replaced the fuel pump assembly, did a tune-up, added fuel injector cleaner. The truck runs great after the intial hard start in the morning.
Thanks again.........
