First off there is bubbles in both the oil and transmission fluid when i check them on the dipstick. What could that be or is it just normal. Second how do you check the diff fluid to add more lately it has a slow leak from where it meets up with the drive shaft and i just want to make sure its not low. 88 350 190,000 miles thanks in advance guys.

Okay I hope your right, thanks for answering .
One other question i'm trying to see how accurate my fuel gage is and would it be a problem to run it out of gas, so i could have an idea of when its low. I heard that if you run a vehicle out of gas the fuel pump will not work until its reset. Thanks

Nothing to reset, however the engine may stumble when cornering as the gas sloshes away from the pump. Thats your clue to get to a gas pump soon.

The fuel in the tank also cools the fuel pump motor, so running the tank/pump low on fuel may not be the nicest thing to do to an old fuel pump. Sometimes we should just be nice to older things.
