I have a 94 Explorer and the breaks grind when coming to a slow stop; basically almost to a crawl. When I stomp on them they stop goood, its just a weird grinding noise and some viabration on the pedal. Any help is appreciated

Have you checked the brakes? It sounds obvious but a lot of people don't before they post, you may have some brakes that are metal to metal.

I had the same kind of thing with my 95 explorer, I thought it was the breaks, but it turned out to be the wheelbearings, wasn't cheap to fix, but did help the noise and grinding.

when IT COMES TO THE BREAKS, WHEELS TIRES ETC IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE OR THE LIFE OF YOUR PASSENGERS HAVE THEM CHECKED.

THE LONGER YOU USE DEFECTIVE BRAKES THE MORE DAMAGE IS DONE TO DISK DRUMS ROTOR'S ETC. AND YOU WILL PAY MORE TO FIX THEM THE COST COULD GO AS MUCH AS A HUMAN LIFE IS WORTH TO YOU.
