FYI Recent engine FIRE, total loss of vehicle; Engine light came on, possible fuel system defect, Fire ensued on right side of engine compartment. Hood release broke, became fully engulfed shortly.
Check fuel system and transmission cooler lines.
Vehicle had 197K miles

woah, sorry to hear about your loss. have full coverage? what the fuel system the definate cause? any pics?

Damn, sorry to hear.....did you say fuel system problem? I haven't heard of a recall on that vehicle.....
