VW Beetle Convertible

I put My Buick GNX on hold so I could build this as an Xmas gift for my brothers Fiance. She just bought a 79 bug in original condition. HEres a few pics of my start. Let me know what you think. I normally just build musclecars as you have seen, so this is slightly different for me

I really like that shade of blue on the Bug. Looking forward to seeing more.

well it wont be that blue for long. the paint code gives me that blue, but the actual paint has a greenish tinge to it i have a pic of the real car. so I picked up some duplicour paint that is closer, so I need to strip it and repaint.I tried to spray the duplicolor over the blue...they didnt get along well. I think im going to go witha duplicolour light blue base coat as well heres a pic of the 1:1
