99 ABS Light

Back again. This time its the ABS light. It comes on when we start to rolling and stays on. A few weeks ago I shut off the Expy and it stayed out, now it stays on. I did a search here a got some info. Is there a special scanner for the ABS. I stopped at Auto Zone and ask if they could find a code with their scanner and was told it would not work. Do I have to take it back to the dealer to find out what's wrong? Thanks T

Not necessarily a dealer, just some placethat has the ABS software installed. From your description it is probably wheel speed sensor, but without a code, it is hard to tell which one.

I feel you are right. Can I go to the dealer and pick one up and move it from wheel until I find the one that is bad? Or will the R/ Fornt not fit L/ Rear? Just asking, T

I think both the front are the same and both the rears are the same, but the front and rear are not the same.
