sure. thats how its done. other things to note about it:
-headlights will not turn on when in this position. if you try to turn them on, they'll retract and open back up to 100%.
-DO NOT TRY TO WIRE THEM SO THAT THEY OPERATE WHILE IN THIS POSITION - you will have very poor lighting which can be quite dangerous
-this will wear out the motors that pop your headlights up, so don't do it too much. eventually you won't be able to lower them (they'll just pop right back up)

anything else anyone want to add?

You should prolly also mention how faggy and lame lazy eyes are on stock body cars.

i'm sinking them back a little further.. they're sticking out too far so once i drill the right holes, i'm molding a plastic cover to hide everything in behind the lights. i like the cut off covers on that car though.. i'm gonna consider that too, cause then i just have to make a cover thats smaller than the stock one and bolt it in.. we'll see.. my car is going away for the winter in the next month or so, so i'll have time between then and april to fix the headlights. i just have to decide exactly what i want to do

add: and i'm probably gonna rock the stock rims like cory till after i've got my engine done..
