92 Halfshafts

How are the rear halfshafts removed from the diff on a 92 Legacy? Also the trans has a problem. When you are driving off idle everything is fine. When you start to take off from idle the trans will clunk like it has dropped out of gear. But when you are stopped it will still "creep" if you lift your foot off of the brake.

There are roll pins that hold them to the diff.
