3 strokes and starts in AM

I have a 96 Mercury Sable 130,xxx miles recently bought @ $1250. First Sable/Taurus....
It drives perfect with smooth transmission and acceleration/deceleration. Though i have noticed that in Mornings (only) it needs three (3) ignition stokes before it starts up. Wondering if its fuel pump or just some dirt in fuel passageway.
2. some brown fluid in radiator/reservoir!! *guess its a common problem in old taurus/sables. some posts have very interesting information in flushing and cleaning up radiator. Mine might have a leak too as i filled it with almost a gallon of coolant and levels were gone within 2 days.
