My '99 Nubira CDX swerves dangerously at random speeds but usually happens when I let off the accelerator. Any one out there know what it may be??

I am getting simular type of swerve. Mine seams to happen on changing lanes. Steering is very sensitive. I do a slight touch of stering and the car want to change lanes . any corrrecting in sterring causes a sway action. I have to keep the steering wheel real stedy to advoid swaying. It is a real issue at highway speed. Any suggestion from anyone on what would help? I saw posting about control arm, would that help? is it issue with a Sway bars?

I have the same exact problem and have not been able to find a solution yet either.

I have not found the problem yet either. However, I did notice that the rear sway bar - at least thats what I think it is - has two bushing/washers that mount in center that seem to have two much give, and not a sung fit. I am getting ready too take to dealer soon If my cash flow holds out.

The dealer told me that the problem is usually the lower control arms. If you can find bushings that would be the cheapest fix. I found lower control arms for about $102.00 each from trademotion.com.

The problem is the lower control arm bushings are worn out.

Common on this vehicle.
