I dont know much about the transmission end of a motor. I just figured that I could buy an upgrade kit that would give me closer ratios. Thanks for the input. I will probably go looking for a B16 or an ITR tranny.

For the cost to get gears made *no one makes a kit for the LS* it would be worthless.
Sell it and pick up a B series vtec tranny with LSD you'll be much happier.

what motor are you putting this on an LS i assume? If so go for an LSD b16 total rippage.

im still undecided to either get a b16 or a gsr tranny...im looking at the older cable trannys soo which one do you guys think would be best? (im sorry im not trying to steal the thread but i think your questions already been answered) im just going to be n/a for a while until i save enough and im going for a junkyard turbo setup...

GS-R. You'll save a little gas on the highway compared to the b16a one, and will give you a higher top speed (if that matters to you).
