does anyone know of any alternative to bare metal foil?

Chocolate foil wrap works pretty well I hear. I think the foil is two-layered, you can peel the foil layer off and there will be adhesive left.

If you mean Bare Metal Foil in particular Detail Master makes a similar product !!
