if you are swapping for the stock 4 spd. you won't need to modify your driveshaft, some 5 spd.s will require that you shorten your driveshaft.

best way to do the conversion is to have a manual car for parts because you will need quite a bit from a donor car

the easiest way is to take the entire steering wheel support/pedal assembly out of your automatic and swap it for the manual version that has a clutch pedal

you will also need the hydrolic clutch master cylinder, the transmission, the transmission crossmember, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, slave cylinder, basiclly every part that is on the manual that isn't on your auto

the good news is that almost everything will bolt up with no modification to your car, except for cutting out a hole for the shifter

i am willing to help you through this because i have done it before, it is really easy and very straight forward, you can do it

if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask

The only problem now is finding a donor car with a manual. If you can't do that there are probably other cars wheree you can get most of the parts...like I'd guess 240Zs and or 210s, if yo can find 1 or both of those in a junkyard you could probably get what you. But I'n not sure I've never done that, but I was just looking at a 240Z the other day, and the clutch seemed very similar. But please, I'm not sure, don't get your jopes up on my idea.
