Yea, the way I see it... In ways of buying parts for my car are just going to come and go as 2-3 different things at once...

Please tell me any open opinions/suggestions about this list...

TPS Enhancer (I know what it does, willing to try it out)
AutoTrans Interceptor (My automatic shifts do feel sloppy, only concern would maybe be a new clutch if any waaay on down the road... trans too but I doubt it)

New paint job (Black) Mine is blue... Love the color blue but it doesnt settle well with the car's appearance.. I plan to buy extra exterior things.. such as lights, etc.

I seem to have a more important issue at the moment...
Today this morning we took my car on a 2 hr drive to and 2 hr drive back from a relative's house .. anywho.. the change oil light came on.. but this doesnt bother me.. it was serviced not to long ago... I have till Nov. or so... I could just reset the light in the fuse box... anyways, another problem has came up... I think along the trip there was a nasty bottomless pit of a pot hole in the road .. just untill tonight my car has been extremely wobbly around 50-55-60mph .. Im scared to go any higher =\ .. I checked the tires and whoomp there it is on the front passenger wheel.. it seems like.. the metal part that touches the tire has been bent inward toward the tire? and has created a lump or unbalanced pressure... I love my car, but wow why me. I am hoping its just the rim and thats it... maybe it can be bent back into place... if any sort of alignment is loose.. im screwed :( :banghead:

Well the most i can say is good luck if you decide to do any of the mods. I haven't heard much bad about anything you listed... The only thing you left out on the expensive end was a supercharger.... I have hear dsome bad things about the trans interceptor screwing up the shifts worse... but i guess that depends on the person and car.

Your oil change light probably wasn't reset after the last oil change... just reset it and you should be good, and for the rim, if it's the outer edge you can have it repaired... You may just need to get the wheel balanced... unless you have a bulge/bump forming on the tire then the tire would need to be replaced. if anything have it checked...

Yea I got the rim fixed and the change oil light is just being ignored for now.. ill reset it soon.

About the trans interceptor, I might hold off on it untill I have some more money.. any open comments about it being good/bad are helpful as well along with the rest of the things listed... I should be updating the list, changed my mind about a few things money wise.

Ill keep that in mind. Where would I be able to purchase a trans cooler? I dont do EBay :headshake ... All this talk makes me excited about buying parts for the car. The other night in celebration of my driver's window going up I drove fast again on my fav. open road :naughty:

Also, One thing I've noticed with this stock box K&N filter, is def. a gas mile upgrade... and maybe a little lower tone in sound, engine is much more quiet than it was when I first got it.

I grouped these mainly because for installation for most of them requires something with the coolant in one way or another. Im to lazy to figure out how to do all of this, even though I could... and just how I am, Id feel more comfortable to pay mech. labor fees.

Soon to follow this would be the Digital HP PCM chip from pfyc. ($215)

nice list Gir. I would suggest a 62mm Mass Air Flow(MAF) to go with the 62mm TB. None of these mods are to difficult to do. The thermostat and TB would be the most difficult, just because you hav several things to disassemble, but still it's doable.

well ur car has a MAF, but the diameter is smaller than the upgraded(62mm)TB. Also some of the two and three piece CAI may not clamp down on the factory MAF, check out the size diff. i found this pic on some site. its the same as I hav.

PFYC has them and so does RSM.its just another little thing to think about before u buy a CAI.

I cant seem to find a 62mm MAF on pfyc, or the RSM site. They do both though have the 62mm TB. Ill keep on looking.

I found this one but I'm not sure if its the right one. It doesnt hav Grand Ams listed but has Alero and Aztek listed. I dont know anyone who'd want a CAI and other performance mods on thier Aztek. LOL.

I dont think I bought my 62mm MAF on the net, I bought it from some parts store in another state. I cant remember the name but everything was GREEN. They dont hav these stores where I liv so I'm clueless as to what the name was..
My MAF wasnt calibrated, so it had to be adjusted through the ODB II port and it wasnt an easy task. It took several days of driving and readjusting. But they are out there ready to use now days, just expect to pay $250-300. It did really giv me that much more of a HP gain for the price, I was looking at fuel economey, but still having a HP gain.

Ya with all these expensive sophisticated intake parts u should be up close to 200hp maybe a little less. I hav closer to 220hp, but with other modifications and biggger exhaust/headers. With the money I've wasted I could of bought the damn turbo kit or super charger, but the trans would be dead.

the #350125 on the JD site would work, it doesnt say what the diameter of the MAF is though. The pic i posted above I think came from car domain, but I never saw where they were all were getting the from. But the #350125 would be calibrated and better than stock.

175-185hp depending on who you ask.

Gir about your list you should definitely get an exhaust as one of your first mods. I would go intake-exhaust-pulley-PCM-TB-P&P intake manifolds-whatever else you plan on doing

exhaust is def. on the list with some new headers.. but I can wait on those

If you get an slp and headers,I heard it sounds like shit because it is really raspy.I dont know if your getting the slp or whatever,but thats what people have said.

I was thinking SLP, but Borla would be my first choice... its all dependant on how long I want to wait and save money...
