With some of my traction issues. UMI has GREAT parts, for a great price.

What is the one on the top?

Driveshaft loop, connects to the torque arm to have it tunnel brace mounted instead of transmission mounted.
The stock piece is crap really. It is attached to the tail of the tranny....putting stress on the tranny under heavy load. Plus, it isn't very strong. It bends under load as well. This will really help keep the car planted in the rear.
And help me blow up the stock rear.

Hmm, that's what I thought but it looked weird for some reason.

Kinda advertising a little bit. The guy that runs (or help runs) UMI helped me out a ton on this purchase. Great service, great pricing, great quality.
Anyways...I have the Spohn panhard bar under my car already. Spohn has some great products as well, but tend to be a little more pricey.

Many of you guys probably think I am pretty well off.
That couldn't be further from the truth. This car and related mods take all my money. I would be doing okay/well if I didn't have the Trans Am though.
On a lighter note...gas is kicking my ass too. The Grand Am doesn't seem to be getting what it should. Might be about time to let that go for a older Honda that gets 30+ in town.

gas is fucking driving me nuts, my caprice just sits in the garage, waiting for new front ball joints, outer tie rods, a new quick ratios steering box i just bought, i just put the new rear in it, which btw is a 8.5" with a eaton posi unit and richmond 3.73 gears, which i found a the local scrapyard in a impala for 300$$$ now that i have 4 wheels disc brakes, i also have to mess around with the abs, man this sucks!!!!!!, also in the process of rebuilding a lt1 to pop into then i gotta mess around with a rebuilt tranny because of the hp im gonna make!!!

Yeah, but you'd have to get the license plate frame that says "My other car has 500whp."

And the sticker that says "My POS is paid for, is yours?"

:D

What does the ability to be adjusted do for these parts like the control arms? Ive seen solid ones and adjustable ones.

Mr. Luos

These control arms are non-adjustable. The torque arm is adjustable.
You can set the pinion angle, which can allow for more bite (better weight transfer) at the track.
I didn't get adjustable control arms because the torque arm is adjustable.

Is that usually the best way to do it. Im looking into uping my suspension pieces and im a bit lost as to what i should get adustable and what I shouldnt....or if i should get adjustable anything.

I heard that if the torque arm is adjustable, you don't need adjustable control arms.
So that is what I got.
