Go to Burd Ford (www.burdford.com) in Indianapolis. They sell both the auto-dimming mirror for about $100 and the manual one for about $20. A word to the wise about the auto-dimming one, they only last about 2 years under regular use. I got tired of replacing mine and bought the manual one. Same bracket - have to hide the power wire, though. :2cents:

www.forpartsnetwork.com (http://www.forpartsnetwork.com) is cheaper yet. I paid about $85, IIRC.

The two websites mentioned in this forum do not work. Any other ideas for a compass rear view mirror for a 2000 LS?

More specifically, here is a link right to the parts catalog: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=getLocator&siteid=318&catalogID=2
You'll have to search the 2001 or 2002 catalog, since the compass option apparently didn't exist in '00. Go to Windshield>Glass>Mirror Inside and then select the mirror you want.
I can't guarantee that a 2002 compass mirror will work in a 2000 LS. I suspect that it will, but ya never know 'til somebody tries it.
