Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is irritating the !@#$%^ out of me. :banghead:


The graphic display is constantly on and the upper symbol, which is a picture of the taillamp is displayed also. I looked in the BMW manual and it states that this specfic symbol denotes a defective center taillamp. :disappoin Now the taillamp located in the rear of the car or the brake light in the window behind the seat came out of the console. I noticed it as a result of opening the trunk. :screwy: As a matter of fact, the bulb was hanging down. I attempted to place the bulb back;however, I noticed that the part where the bulb and holder goes was partly burned, thus resulting in it not being securely mounted. I occasionally check the trunk to see if the bulb is still mounted and so far so good, but the reality is that I would prefer not to pay an eyeball and ear for body work to get a new one. Anyway, I can go on and on, let me leave at that point. All suggestions welcomed.
