My clutch gets stuck on the floor on left turns, and sometimes even a slight left turn. I know its CW. Is there a temporary fix at least because i want to sell my car. If someone test drove it and it sticks to the floor... I kinda feel bad selling my car to someone who might know little or abosolutely nothing about dsms but i really want a GSX! If there is a quick fix, plz let me kno or any suggestions. thanks!

lol its up to you if you tell them that it has CW, but if i were you i probably would so there is no lawsuit or something, b/c after they buy it they need a new engine. but the only fix is a new engine or bebuild EVERYTHING in your engine, including the crank.

You should, that would make you a piece of SHIT! Like the jackass who sold me my GST when I knew nothing about CW. Clutch problems he says....I will snatch the life out of him if I ever see him again.

You need to tell the person. There's something called "Lemon Laws" preventing selling people a well...lemon.

Yea man. When i bought my car he told me the last owner put some racing clutch or something and the cables are somewhat messed up thats why it sticks to the floor. I don't kno what to do anymore. I got a turbo eclipse but FWD lol. Maybe i should just get civic SI coupe and drop a k20 :o. Or wait till my engine blows up, drop a new one and then sell it? Maybe mod it and do some crazy ass wheel spin? If i tell them, how much should i sell my car and what are my chances of selling it lol. '97 very clean and nice =] paid off.

If your going to sell the car it would be better for you to go ahead and get it fixed. Who wants to buy a car and have to put a new motor in it before they drive it. And with a new motor it should sell easier and for a lot more cash

My thoughts exactly, dont try to just sell it, thats low. I think you are boned. I doubt you will get any money at all with a CW'd engine. I would drop in a new engine, then sell it.

how much do u guys think its going to cost for a swap =]. i know 1g would be cheaper than JDM but its very hard to find a 1g here in cali. i went to junkyard... no good. JDM is EXPENSIVE. hopefully i can get a 1g.

Got it. First i need to swap 1g, to sell it with confidence and more $$$. Second i need to sell my computer *this one* because i can sell this for around 700-800 and it will blow away any compaq/HP computer with the same price range. Its custom made with good stuff in it (pm me if ur interested or need more info abou it). Because it will take me around 2 months to get enough money to swap 1g if i dont sell my computer cause im a minor and get paid minimum. Thing is, i dont kno how to sell on ebay. I've only used it once and that was to buy my exhaust :). Tips where i can find a 1g would be great! thanks.

Take your chances at EBAY. I bet you can get a lot more for your PC over there. Put a Reserve price and let people out bid each other. I bet you can sell it a lot quicker then this method. Its not hard to sell on EBAY. Register and follow rules :).
Good luck

Oh by the way, is there really a law when say some one sells you a vehicle that has CW that you can sue them in some way ? I mean how do you protect yourself against CW, make seller sign a contract saying it has no CW :) ???

The best way to protect yourself is to know what to look for and so you can look at the floored clutch pedal and say, "Sorry man, not interested." If someone tried to pass it off on me as a clutch problem and I took it and later found out it was CW, I would go break my foot on that bastards ass.
