Thats too broad to even answer....there is a HUGE gap from 13 to 10 secs. Is the car going to be a daily driver?? How many miles on the engine? Are you keeping the engine you have now?? What is your budget??

If you plan on turbo then you need to read

yeah 10-13? thats a huge friggin difference in that car with that engine. 13 I say possible with lotsa money... 10 is gonna be a drag monster that is all but impossible.

13's 3,000-8,000
10's 15,000+

Just a rough estimate.
Maybe less if you have the tools, time, and ability to build an engine and make it run

but i would go boost and lots of it

I'd say close to $7000. if you want to do it right. you need fuel management, a boost controler, injectors, larger fuel pump, a computer is a good idea, FMIC, exhaust setup, piping, clutch, flywheel, gauges..... you should also build the engine(pistons, sleeve, rods, valves, cams). you just have to realize its not just slapping a turbo on. It is A LOT of work to turbocharge a n/a car. and plus the guy you're talking about sounds like a complete ricer, no offense (short ram intake? spark plugs?).

So.... having a short ram intake and spark plugs makes you a ricer..... thats the weakest statment i have ever heard

no i didnt say he was a ricer, i said he sounded like a ricer. cold air > short ram, and its a cheap bolt on, not that it makes you a ricer of course, and spark plugs? no i/h/e? he wants to run 13 or 10 second quarter miles, yet has NO idea how to make his car that fast. but i guess i just assumed he knew nothing about cars and that he was having some one build his car for him. my bad. EXCUSE ME.

no, its aight. my bad. yea, i guess i just judge ppl too quickly, but it just bugs me when people dont know anything about their cars and just pay other people to do modifications for them.
