I guess I need shocks now that I lowered the car, what would you guys recommend and why ?

KONI YELLOWS - $510 & A RATING OF 4.28/5 ON CARREVIEW.COM

KYB AGX ADJUSTABLE SHOCKS - $340 & A RATING OF 4.33/5

TOKICO ILLUMINA SHOCKS - $430 & A RATING OF 4.42/5

If you guys have other recomendation please go ahead, it's for a 1992 civic with neuspeed race springs on around a 2.25/2.00 inch drop.

I agree. Koni yellows below Tokicos and KYBs? That's crazy. Then why does everyone I know who autocrosses use Koni Yellows and no one I know uses the other two? Hello McFly?

No Koni Yellows are great. Much better than the Tokicos or KYBs. My Tokicos were shot after 6 months with coilovers.

What about Tein's? Dont you have these Drift? I am seriously considering getting these in a bout 3 weeks. Most likely HA's. I guess since I have a GS I have to get the JSpec rear lower control arms (because the Teins have solid ends and not forked).

Does anyone else have recomendations, or know where to get better prices on the shocks ?

Also for the money, the KYB seem to be the cheapest, what do u thionk about that matched up with the Neuspeed Race.

my Tein setup is all that, a little bit more, and a bag of chips. :D

but i recommend Koni if you want a simple spring and strut setup.

i am looking for a bit more from my setup. will be autoxing and would like a tunable, high quality suspension. not to mention teins are rebuildable, correct?

what kind of chips do you have? :D did you get the pillowballs?

any tips on the teins would be appreciated.....

Tein HA and higher are rebuildable. the Tein SS arent. I passed on the pillowballs since they dont feature camber adjustability on double wishbone suspensions (only macpherson strut works with camber plates) and I already had urethane bushings.
