i have a 1995 ford contour gl 2.5 liter v6 24 valve engine
my radiator is cracked and i am going to repair that monday but before then it was the water pump i had replaced with the metal empellar on it
my mother had put too much oil in my car while she had it when i was away and drove it around like that for about 2 weeks
but here is the problem when i drive around for awhile or pick up the speed to about 45, after that when i stop the car it starts to shake and the check engine light comes on and a knocking noise begans to sound off from the engine and the more i drive it like that like on my way home it will get louder and sometimes even cut off
could anyone tell me what they think the problem may be and how severe and expensive it could be

the rod bearing is the bearing that connects the rod to the piston. The engine will need to be fully torn down. Either that, or swap in a 3.0L like most people do.
