sticky door locks

My daughter picked up a 98 Intrigue for (85K miles) in June.
We've had less problems with the $700 beater that she had before.

Bad ABS/Bearing assemblies - had to bully the dealer into fixing this.
Bad rack & pinion - seals shot - even Lucas Stop Leak couldn't fix
Mouse nest & chewed wires under the plastic cover

Now she's calling from college

1) Low Oil Light - I'm hoping it's the sensor problem I saw in a previous post.

2) Sticky Door Locks - Unlocking from outside takes several tries before it finally opens - From inside, the doors don't unlock after putting the car in park.

Any ideas????

Maybe I'll get lucky and the New Hampshire flood waters will wash the car down the river :-)

First things first, the Low oil light is very serious. The intrigue is equiped with an actual oil level sensor, along with an oil pressure sensor. When the low oil light comes on, it means that the car is usually 1 3/4 - 2 quarts low. I know this because my intrigue leaks oil out of the intake manifold gasket. Its not really that serious you just have to keep an eye on it, if she regularly checks the oil say everytime she goes to get gas, she should never see the light. Its a 98 so it takes 10W-30 oil, you can get a case for less than 20 dollars. The thing about the low oil light is though, that it will only come on when the car is turned on. So if she is driving 3000 miles on a long trip it won't come on until the next time she shuts the car off, but you really only have to worry about that for long trips. As for the locks I'm at a loss
