I have my vehicle purchase narrowed to the following:
1993 LeSabre Custom - maroon with maroon cloth, 50% tires, 54k miles, Fair condition, 4 hours from my house, $1,450.
1995 Regal Limited - Champagne w/tan leather, 75% tires, 92k, good condition, 2 hours from my house, $2,400.
I plan to commute and put as many miles on the car as I can prior to blow up and then sell it to a recycler. I will be the END USER of whatever I purchase.
This is a tough call so I thought I would throw this out there. The '93 has fewer miles, less whistles, farther to pickup, not in as good a shape, but costs $1k less, and I have to go by some totally nude men's clubs to purchase (stopping by is a given!). The '95 has more miles (but reasonable), more whistles, closer to my house and has the Series II motor (with possible future plenum issues), and I am told the W styles do not ride as nice. What is a man to do?

My wife has a 1995 Regal Custom with 240,000 k on it. I bought it new and to date have changed the altenator, and gas tank. Although
I have a 2001 Lesabre, if I were you, and based on your details, I would go with the Regal. Nice little commuting car.
