BTW: you will probably need to be more detailed than that if you are looking for a close answer. is it getting fuel? is it trying to start? is it turning over?

check to see that it is getting fuel by looking through the clear tube coming from the filter to the pump while someone turns the car over. You can also loosen each nut on the metal lines that go from the pump to the injectors. The nuts are on top of each injector where the line meets the injector. They will require a quick torque to "break free". Just be careful not to break/crease the lines. Also be prepared to quickly tighten the nuts as fuel will spurt out (keep a rag nearby). If no fuel surts out of the injector as the car is turned over then it could be a bad filter or the pump is not getting fuel or a bad pump- not necessarily the engine. Did you recently run the car out of fuel? or almost out of fuel? This causes sediment to get sucked into the lines or causes the pump to lose it's prime (go dry and lose it's ability to suck fuel).

Try taking a wire and putting it between your positive battery post and the little nut that’s over the first glow plug for about ten seconds or so to see if the glow plugs are getting juice.It may get a little hot. If it starts you know that they weren’t getting juice.
Make sure the wire that is connected to the injector pump is getting juice and not broken. You can take a wire from the battery positive post and run it over to the injector pump to make sure this is not your problem.
Also try taking the fuel filter off and see if it’s full. If not you may be sucking in air maybe from the fuel lines or somewhere else.
Fill the filter back up to the top and make sure you replace the little quarter size gasket/seal in the center. This is easy to lose especially if you dont know its there and it drops off with out you knowing it.
If youre careful there is a little ledge next to the engine, the filter will sit on and you can fill it up with a little funnel with out having to bring it all the way out between the filter holder and the engine.(i have dropped them like this when filling.)
If its not sucking in air too much or you recently ran out of fuel this should get you going. Recheck the fuel filter if you start having the problem again (or check it anyways)and you will know your fuel system is not airtight if it does not stay full.

Have you had the timing belt removed. It's really easy to have the cam 180 degrees out of position. Remeber that the crank turns 2 times for each cam rotation. This can cause the fuel to be injected at the wrong time and it will act like it's trying to start, but won't. The above advise is probably on the money. The most common problem I've run into is loss of prime on the fuel pump. If you're getting fuel and it still won't start, check the timing as I've already said.
