have any of you had trouble getting your scions financed? I've had mine a week, and now the call and tell me that I'm going to have to pay 2000 down on it, after I traded a car in for it, they won't/can't get it financed, or so they claim, have any of you had this problem?

i think the way scion works, is that they require at least a 500 dollar down payment on the car, so if your car was worth more than 500 than you should be fine.
im not 100% sure on this, its just what ive heard through other websites with other people having the same problem. if they persist with the issue, i would suggest talking to the manager of the dealership.

actually threatening them with a lawsuit fixed it for me, but they still lost 8 potiential customers, 2 of which have bought cars from them for atleast 20 years

im very surprised, you should have just went to a different dealership. if you were buying a toyota they may have thrown in a ton of free stuff. and i think if you refer someone to toyota, you reecieve 500 dollars off your car payments if you are financing. so if you have 8 people, that would have been 6000 off a toyota, but then again this is for toyota, and may only be something that is happening at my local dealership
on the downside... my tC was rear ended tonight
she is paying for my new bumper that bitch

I've got a list of problems, all of which the dealership refuses to fix, so I'm going to wait until it causes an accident then sue the **** out of them, like the sticky clutch, the headlights dimming(they quoted me 1800 for repairs to that claiming its my fault) the radio changing channels, stuff like that

You must have bought at the worst dealer in your area. Bummer.
Have you called the corporate assistance number? 1-866-70-SCION

didn't know there was such a number, it seems I'm the only one that has this problem with the delearship about scions(though the dealer has been sued many, many, many times over crap like this) the mechanics are as their service writer(aka assistant service manager) said "the mechanics in this place are complete idiots, I drive 180 miles to have my car worked on under the toyota warranty"

To quote from the Warranty Info pamphlet: "If you're not happy with the solution provided by the dealership, call the Scion Customer Experience at (866) 70-SCION...."
If the dealer has been sued as often as you say (how'd you find out?) then it's no surprise you're having your problems. Too bad you didn't know his track record before you bought. You can have your revenge by writing him up at www.dealerrater.com (http://www.dealerrater.com) .

I found out because he used to own the biggest dealership in arkansas, which he sold to united auto group(whom I work for) he sold everything but toyota to them, and built a new store, about 30 miles from his old one, hes quite litterally the only toyota place within a 2 hour drive
