2000 Malibu Steering Wheel

Hi,
On my Malibu there is a creak in the steering wheel its self. It's in the plastic, when I press down on it, it stops. Loud and pretty annoying.
How the heck do I get the covers off on this Malibu steering wheel to see whats up.

I have the same problem. Its like in there where the air bag goes.
