Bogs when you take off

I have a 1994 Jetta GLS III. It was running good and then it started bogging everytime I started to drive it. You know like when you don't shift right and it jerks you around. that is what this feels like but it is not a stick. The coolant flange was busted so we fixed it hoping that was causing it but it didn't help. When it does start doing it really bad it is when the coolant is always halfway up and sometimes the oil light beeps but there is oil in it. Maybe someone has had this problem and can shed some light. Thanks. :banghead:

sounds like a bad maf sensor but the check engine light would be on.

Check your catalytic converter. It sounds like the same problem I had a while ago.
