coil cracked

i was installing my ignition amp and noticed a crack in my stock coil

so as of now my ign amp isn't in and i'm thinking if it is important enough that i should get a new coil.
i can get an accel coil from canadian tire for $45 i think, or a petronix coil for $40

EDITED: it's taken care of. i ordered a new one :D
