Does it have to be a Trueno Apex GT hatchback panda with foglights watanabe rims and tofu stickers? coupes, GTV's and levins are also nice choises even though takumi didnt drive one. :p

www.carland86.com is probably the site you are looking for. They arent cheap though. And as much as I like my car I would NEVER pay that much 20 year old corolla. Unless its a show/collection car I would say its a huge waste of money when you can pickup a decent ae86 and restore it/build it for to your qualifications and not have to worry about scratching 'new' car.

If you want a good looking 86, but want it cheap try the used car importers from Austrailia, or Japan. They have decently priced cars, and lots of them. I've herd stories of primo Trueno, and Levins going for less than $5000.00. I can imagine that since they are small cars, and realitivly worthless (compaired to Efini RX-7's) that shipping wont be too expencive.

Another idea is if you ar good with mechanics, you could find a Corrola DOHC 1985 or so, get a badge kit from E-Bay, and a front half from a wrecked Trueno or Levin (from Japan, or Australia) and import that. Front halves usualy don't have good body's, but the engine had to be running when crashed right? :naughty: So, All of the stuff to convert the driver's side over is in a nice neat package! (also cheap and popular to import)

Just pick up an english copy of a Japanese car mag, the exporters, and wreckers are alwase listed somewere. Try the Australian mag "Drift Battle" they have the ads for all that stuff, and you can get it at most large magazine racks.

Never give up though, I still don't have my Panda 86, but I'm alwase searching!

Good luck!

Try
WWW.JUSTJAP.COM
they claim to have the largest range of half-cuts in stock in Australia.

Also:
There is a place called SSS Automotive, and they specialize in selling used engines. Also Australian. Their number is (02)-9896-6111 or fax at (02)-9636-1278.

Good luck!
