Going to Canadia!

Well here I sit, 3 days before I make my journey out of Utah and back to Canada, my homeland. I have news to tell, and some of you will be disappointed, others may be thrilled. Anyway, this is where I'll tell all. So, I'm leaving. I'll be heading out Friday afternoon. The Civ will be coming along of course. Have to bring it with me, cause I need some sort of transportation while I'm home. Moving on...

So, will there be a meeting you ask? There will be if we can arrange this properly. My father and I will be traveling together. The sad thing is, he already booked his flight from Chicago back to SLC. Thus, I can't make it to Urbana (Joshy). We're heading straight to Chicago and we must be there by Sunday morning so the ol' man can catch his flight. After that, I'll be free to head out on my own, but then again, I'm not sure if my cousin wants to meet in Chicago to help drive the rest of the way to my homeland.

Here's my request. If those of you who would like to meet, please make a suggestion to meet some where near Chicago, or along my route. I'd hate to stray away and get off track. I'm a little limited on time due to the fact that I start a new job on Tuesday of next week. I'd like everyone to agree on one place where we all can meet. I'd like to hang out for the evening or day with each and all of you I can. Please. I can't waste too much time. So that's it.

I'll have my schedule planned out better by Thursday, so I'll post it here on AF to make sure everything is in order. I would hope that everyone can make a good suggestion point for all to meet. If anything changes for me or any of you, please make it known here so that all can know.

Josh, to you. I still have your number, so while I travel I'll let you know where I am and how close I am to the state of IL. If you can, could you please let it be known to those here on AF my whereabouts. I plan on spending the night there in Chicago if I make it early enough. I hope to meet all that I can. It would be my pleasure to spend an evening with my fellow AFers. So, again, please let me know who will be coming along. That is all. Thank you for your response in advance. :)

I'd be interested in a small AF meet. I live in Southwestern Michigan, and as long as it's like less than an hour from where I live (basically Gary is the farthest I'll go), I'd show up Saturday night.

No problem, just let me know and i'll see what i can get arranged. I dont think i would have any problems driving to Chicago if that were the case to. Just let me know exactly what you plan on doing.

I'll let you know by Thursday evening how things are going to work out. Should be enough time. I should arrive there around Saturday evening if we continue non-stop. So, I'll be there around Sunday.

So I forgot to post up my schedule last night, but here I am. I leave in about 2 hours to head out to Canada. Plans are still the same. I should arrive in Chicago Saturday night, and I intend on staying there for the evening.

So I guess Sunday will or could be the meet up day. Not a lot of the members I planned on attending actually have posted here lately, so, whomever reads this hopefully should know. Anyway, I'd like to meet in the Chicago area, or along the way. But, whoever wishes to show up is fine by me.

From the looks of it, Josh, you'll probably be the only one I see. Anyway, I'll give you a call when I get near the area. Hope to see whoever I can. AF, I'll probably not be online for quite sometime. So this is goodbye for the time being. Take care to all of you!
