Well I just had the worst experience of my life, Today while I was in school, I got called down to the office. There were three cops there to tell me my car was stolen. I was in complete shock. They said for me to come down to the Municipality building to make a report. Now my 3 day old ****ing car was ****ing stolen. I hate my life. I live in the safest and one of the top neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. This sorta stuff doesnt just happen. This blows ***.

That sucks ass, why didn't you drive it to school? You have insurance for it, being 3 days old?

No one said they say it, and I dont get my license till april, See the car was under my dads name, but he told them that i bought it and i knew about it. One of my crazy 90 year old neighbors said she saw it, but I have faith in our cops. There wasnt much gas in it so theyll be looking for it at gas stations.

Sorry to hear about your car being stolen, I hope the cops find the assholes who did it.

By the way, did you know the Acura Integra is the most common stolen car in America?

I think you might find this interesting...

I remember a few months ago my parents told me that there had been a car theft in the neighborhood and it was right across the street from my friends house. The car thieves tried stealing a black Integra by rolling it down the driveway, somehow they didnt succeed.. I forget the rest of the story.

What really sucks the most is, and I completely forgot about this, I ordered this stupid ass alarm system yesterday with money from work.

Sorry about to hear your car being stolen dude. I hope the cops find your car and hope its in one piece. Just hope they didnt mess with anything with the car.. most thieves will f**k up the car first then take anything they think is valuable in the car then just leave it. Its sad how people wont work for things and just steal it... sooooo sad....

hey man... in 2001 i had a 94 ls vtec integra white... fully built motor and car show material... i live in jersey and its bad here with integras getting stolen.... my integra got stolen at my school (kean university) it was the worst... now i have a turbo eclipse and i love it... but my teg was my first car.... when i get older i will buy a beat up one and make a replica of my first car... meant so much to me... it will be my project car. i try to think of it in a positive way... maybe i would've got into an accident a real bad one... or something bad would've happened.... but best thing to do is make is a sleeper.. and get full cover in insurance... i know how you feel man.... just move on bro... sucks like a mother fucker but integras will get stolen. if they want it... they will get it.... integras are #1 stolen car in america.... good luck bro... Sorry to hear that man, I live about 20 miles N. of Da 'Burgh in a relatively safe suburb. A guy across the street from me had a really nice Suzuki off-road bike stolen. Apparently some drug dealer stole the bike, the Pittsburgh police found him/chased him down and recovered the bike. So, he did get it back, just a little banged up. Hopefully you'll get the car back all in one piece man.

What color was the car... some dude delivered a pizza to my work last night in a white Acura Integra... looked like an early 90's... doubtful it was the car though. #!$@'in thieves. :disappoin

You get a really bad, sinking feeling when you know your car just got jacked... sorry to hear about that, I can relate..

Though you can't prevent a determined theif from taking your car, you can certainly make it hard as nails. Aside from having a Viper 791XV pager-alarm system (with 2 extra modules: interior motion detector and external prox sensor), I always put on the club, and am also going to have a kill switch installed. A regular theif should be like, "ok, screw this, let's try the next car." If its Nic Cage in Gone in 60 Seconds, I might have some trouble though....lol.

They probably would be. I'd be kind of happy if the camry got stolen but I'd be mostly sad. It's my first car and treats me well. I hope you get your car back.

That fucking sucks. You got full coverage?

Monarch
10-12-2005, 09:52 PM
So theres good news and bad news. Good news, yes we did have full coverage, and the fact that the car was only a few days old actually helped us out. We are supposed to get the price of the car plus 15% extra for premium(w/e that is). But my dad said next time I get a car, to make sure I put the alarm on it ASAP. Smart Man. Bad news, I had a bad experience with my first car. Just pushes me to go harder. Peace and thanks for the support.

so if the car's found lets say tomorrow do you get it back or do you get the money ? or is the choice yours ?

Forget the alarm systems. They are designed to sound neat, and make the alarm companies money. Take a regular toggle switch, and interrupt the power wire for the fuel pump relay. Then, mark the switch," FOG LIGHTS", and mount it in plain sight. Thieves will go right under the dash looking for an alarm control box or kill switches. Most alarm boxes are easy to figure out, and can be bypassed. BUT, if there is no power to the fuel pump relay, then the thief will only get about 10 feet before the vehicle stalls, and I gaurantee you, it won't go any further without fuel. Alos, forget "The Club". One can of freon, and a hammer and I can bust it in two in 20 seconds. I do like the picture taking device, that is truly a handy device. Maybe hooking it up to a WI-FI transmitter to automatically Email it to your account would be a step better. If you want to defeat a high tech criminal, just pull the plug and his world is dead.

ok listen up... if you get another honda your gonna have to beef up the security on that bad boy... hondas get stolen like crazy, like i said earlier in this thread about my acura... any alarm system isn't going to stop the guy from taking it... it will slow him down to get the car. but lets be serious... if someone wants your car, THEY WILL TAKE IT. Its as simple as that.... all you can do is put obstacles in his way to slow him down or make him think twice about it.... i personally on one of my nicer cars i have a 3 kill switches. and an alarm with the stupid pager on it and pages you and lets you know whats going on.... a back up battery for the alarm.... i have lojack also.... you can do anything for a kill switch go to your shop that you go to, to get work done and tell them to hook it up so either you have to have the left turn signal on to turn the car... or window switch up to start it or hazzards, or parking lights on only... crap like that... and you can just tell them to hook 2 of them up so you have to have your high beams on and your turn signal on while holding the window switch to turn the car on.... lol crazy but its what we gotta do these days... lojack is great too... another thing is that boot that goes on your rim like the impound people have, but its like a miniture one... bottom line is if they want it they will take it... they will study and study your moves and shit like that so they can do it perfect... ... Good luck bro
