Swapping out engine block in 1989 Rx-7 - tips? Gaskets?

The car is a 1989 Rx-7 non-turbo, 5-speed. It currently runs and is complete, it has a suspected internal coolant leak/overheating issue.
I'll soon be swapping out the "bad" block with a "good" junkyard block.
What gasket sets or other parts will I need?
Any special tools a typical mechanic would not have?
Any tips/other things I should replace while in their? I recently had a bad experience having to go back into a toyota engine after the knock sensor went bad - stupid %#$@& knock sensor.
Anything else I should know? Other than the fact there is no such thing as a "free" Rx-7...
Thanks.

Perhaps if you have not already done so. Read over the Haynes/Mitchell/Chilton/All Data. On The Rotary, should be of some major help to you.
While you are at it, you -may- want to replace your injectors and fule filter.
Your Local NAPA or Parts Source Store should have any gaskets and should be of some help as they have access to stuff the ordinary Joe doesn't.
Other then that. Best of luck.
