I am pretty sure that the light came on due to a bad tank a gas I got in Iowa. How do you reset the light so it goes off? I fear the dealership will charge an arm and a leg to do so. :banghead:
Tried to disconnect battery but it did not reset. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

Usually the light will go off when the condition clears itself, but a scanner may be needed to actually clear the codes. Most parts stores these days will scan and clear the codes for free, should kill the light.

I ran the tank down to empty and refilled it with new gas. The light went out for a while and came back on at 3/4 tank.
I think I'll throw some water remover in this tank and change out the fuel filter.
Thanks for the info about the autoparts store. I think I'll head out there today and have them check/clear the error codes.
