Hi Guys,

Where can I buy spare parts for my models? Specifically a new set of wheels for my S2000.

I don't know if you can order directly through Tamiya in your country tho.

Frank, you're an optimist!
South Africa is the pit if you're a model builder, everything is priced off the wall when you can get it, and you can seldom get anything!

Gabbadude, I would recommend trying ebay to find scale wheels, but first ask sellers if they will ship items as a gift and figure out payment options too.
Your only other option is one of the Japanese online retailers, but expect the prices to be inhibitive. You'll find a list of online stores in the FAQ.

BTW, are there any hobby stores in Stellenbosch or do you have to cross the mountain for supplies?

I've got a spare set of Mugen S2000 gold wheels that I didn't use for my S2000 build. I didn't like them, but they are the rims only in a light gold colour. No tyres as I used them.

You can repaint them, re-chrome etc but if you think these might be OK send me a PM. I'd be happy to work something out with you.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Mickbench, if you can post a pic of them I would be greatful and let you know.

freakray, I will check ebay thanks. Yes, I have to cross the mountains to get my supplies. :) that's if I don't order through HLJ. Cause then I get it at my local Post Office. They have been so faithful in sending me what I need. The wait is 99% worth it. I found some really cool add-ons for the S2000 on Media Mix which Im considering.

Anyway...

There just seems to be noone really who has a good range of spare parts for models anywhere online. I couldn't find anything on HLJ.

These are the rims I have spare. I for some reason did not like them too much, but you might like them, as they are Honda S2000 Mugen rims. All I want for them is the postage and package costs. Which will not be a lot..

If you want them PM me.

If you want those rims, PM me your postal address...

The postage was so small, you can have them and not worry about cost. This ones on me..!!
