Fog lights messing with subs

I just got my fog lights wired up today and noticed some weird things happening. I have my power coming from my red CD wire(+12V at all times) for the fog lights.
When I was listening to sports talk and flipped my fog light switch my subs pounded for 1 beat then stopped. I turned off my switch and turned it on right away and nothing happened. I then turned off the switch for about 5 minutes and turned it on again. Again the subs would pound for 1 beat. Now I turned on a CD and turned up the volume to about 12. My subs were hitting and I turned on my switch. For a second I had no power to my subs or speakers and then everything was working fine again.
Anyone know what the problem could be? Is it my fog lights taking a lot of power from the HU right away while they turn on?
Thanks

it sounds to me like you have your fog lights hooked up through your radio? That'll be the problem if that's right, fog lights are essentially tiny headlights, they really need their own circuit.

your overloading the red wire from your deck. Dont do it. Thats just stupid, hook your subs up through your deck. If you need a constant power wire, hook it straight to the battery. Dont forget to fuse it. A 10 amp fuse is more than likely enough for your fog lights.

Yeah I know it's stupid. When I bought the car it was like that and I haven't felt like changing it. I won't be using the lights for a while until I can fix the problem.
