Help, My 93 Escort Has Starting Problems

can anyone help solve my starting problems with my 93 escort cabroilet. i bought it about 5 weeks ago, it was running great, then about 3 weeks ago i was having trouble starting it. it was turning over but was not starting. sometimes it starts no problem. when it drives it drives fine. i had it put on an electrical testing machine and was told it was my alarm. i had 2 alarms, factory fitted and another one. the other one was removed. it was wired up to my fuel pump relay, central locking etc. right away it started but the next morning it wouldn`t start. this car is driving me nuts, does anyone have any ideas. thanks
