Im going to get my TB done. Is there any downfalls on a NT to get a 60mm bore? Again, Im looking for the most power. Is there a benefit for the 55 over the 60, or is 60 good? Thanks

It might just be a rumour, but I have heard that if you go as big as 60 mm, your car will eat gas like crazy. It will definately give you more power though over a 55 mm.

I was looking into this a year ago. I think I remember seeing a dyno of a 420A with a stock TB and then a 55mm TB, and there was virtually no difference. The Eclipse was turboed, too... So I would have expected the difference to be pretty drastic. All in all, I think that there are other mods that you'd be happier with performance wise. (Unless you do your own porting on the stock TB.) Just get some headers! My :2cents:

i think it would help if you had everything else ported too...intake/exhaust runners and ports with a full exhaust system. then it would increase overall flow, but otherwise i don't think it would help.

"Just get some headers!"
Already got a header. I haven't seen a 4-banger with multiple headers in awhile.
Well, I got the full exhaust and the CAI. Seems to me like that would be the next thing to get done. Got some more air coming in, and going out. This would help alittle more, right? Anyone here have a ported one and seen a difference? Thanks
