1987 5.0 Power Needed

My friend has a 1987 Country Squire with the 5.0 Mustang engine. We took off the mufflers and ran the exhaust from the cats down the sides and out before the rear wheels (lakewood). What can we do to get more power for really cheap and without heed to smog laws.

u talkin about catback? bolts on's would be a good start

Yeah, cat-back. We might rip out the insides of them sometime, though. I'm trying to get him to buy a cheap set of shorty headers off eBay.
