Ok someone explain 2 me what exactly " Ricey, ricer" means? I thought it was a car that has an overly designed body kit, a fart cannon, a giant wing, etc... (By overly designed , I mean a bodykit that looks like it belongs on a hot wheel or somethin with way too many extra lines and contours that serve no purpose and dont match most cars body lines).
Just wanderin if I would be considered a ricer or racer for what I want to do to my car. LOL

Hey...rice isn't always bad. the term "rice racer" refers to any import. Sometimes I refer to my car as rice. I don't think it's a bad thing. People say "oh damn look at that rice racer" and I'm like "what I can own your american car any day" and I'm proud of it. That's the good kinda rice. The nice rice. Where you have everyone done right and it doesn't look ghetto. Now....when you see those 4 different color primered hondas driving around with mufflers bigger than your hand it and intakes made out of duct tape and duct tape all over their body kit....that's the bad rice. Me...I have nice rice and I'm proud so when people call you a rice ricer(?) Say yep....but I'm sure my car is better than yours. I'm proud to drive an import : )

LMAO dude that page is pretty funny.
Yea I'm probably gonna be a ricer then at least according to that web site. I even wear my hat backwards lol. BUT as CactuarGirl said I'm also proud of my import no matter how fugly it looks right now, I know it'll look pretty sweet when I'm done. I can already whoop on camaros n such right now. (Just raced a dude I work with and he's always being a dick about me needin to get a "real" car. I bet he feels like a dumbazz now that his camaro got beat by 2 car lengths by a weak ass "rice burner". Thanx for helpin me out on that, cuz he's the reason I asked.

what kinda camaro did you race? no stock or close to stock 4th gen will beat any kind of camaro in a drag race period unless the camaro driver did something VERY stupid. and no stock celica can beat a camaro z28 in a drag race. i wont lie camaros are fast as hell in a straight line. i think it is highly unlikeley that you beat one. even the v6s have twice the power of your celica. people have a misconception that if its an import you can smoke american v8s all day. this is far from the truth. not to sound like a redneck import hater but i have to speak the truth.

and being a ricer is not about imports vs domestics. its any car that has on useless parts, fugly body kits, stickers, neons, alluminum spoilers, more money into a sound system than the engine, decked out with "racing stuff" but has no engine mods, and people who think a honda civic will smoke an american v8.

Hey I never said I could beat a Camaro. I also never said it was imports against domestics....but didn't you ever notice the people calling you a rice racer are the ones driving American cars. I mean I gotta give some respect to American cars....like the Viper and Camaro and the Mustang. There's this car show I got to every sunday and there's a viper camaro and mustang that always show up. Now the show is usually meant for rice but it's nice to see some domestic. I think the only car they might have a hard time beating is that damn fixed up Supra. ehh....the point is...some domestic cars could beat you any day no matter how hard you try. I admit it.

Its an 82 I think w\ a completely out of tune 305. Your right and normally I wouldnt attempt it but his car spits and sputters and backfires worse than mine. Plus the guy is a moron and can't drive for shit so I didnt have much doubt in me winning. I can't wait for his excuse for losin when I get to work today. I'm not knockin american cars.
I love Domestics, Esp. the oldies but with gas prices the way they r and the fact that my 02 malibu sucked gas like a V8, makes me glad I have my toyotas.

i just dont think all imports are rice, like u cacutar i think rice is any car that has been modified like i described. lol ive seen riced out mustangs all the time. and neons, saturn ions, ford probes/focus, so rice can be any car import or domestic imo.

yea sounds like ur buddy needs to retire his "real car". sounds like a real clunker. its probably all rusted and ugly too. if i had a classic camaro like that i would definitley be keeping it in good condition. have you seen the new concept for the new camaros they are bad azz.

The term rice rocket, aka rice burner was used for any japanese car. Hence Japs eat a lotta rice, I am japanese somewhat so I can say that. Even the fast ones are were called that. It is the honda's with the primer that gave the term a negative conotation. Rice can be good or bad, but technically any car from Japan is rice, yes, even the corolla and skyline.
