Is it possible to clean or replace the switch in the door for the auto seat belts? Mine is working ok most of the time, but once in a while it takes a few minutes after I open the door before the belt gets the idea to move out of the way. Also, if I unhook the belt from the release it won't always hook back in without some coaxing.

I had a door that did something like that and come to find out the door hinge pin was sagging once I put a bushing kit in the hinge the seat bellt worked fine.

I disconnected mine so they do not move at all and you basically use them as regular seatbelts.....

I was having the same problem. The controlling switch is in the latch of the door. Squirt some penatrating oil in it. They get dirty and gummy after a while.

I too had a similar problem it was the latch in the door, replaced it , works fine. But if you have a concern about connecting the seat belt to the track maybe the track buckle is distorted in some way? Try and see if you see something bent inside.
