Anybody have any suggestions for cleaning and reconditioning fuel injectors? I can't really afford to replace them. I have them off the car for a head gasket replacement. Thanks.

Be carefull with those damn things, their more fragile than they look.
You can partially disassemble each one to expose the filter screen, but there's not much more you can do on the bench without risking damaging them. Obviously you can use a spray cleaner and compressed air to get them a bit cleaner but even then you risk jamming some small particles in the nozzles.
I just wiped off the external surfaces of mine, cleaned the screens, installed new "O" rings, put them back in service, and ran Seafoam in the gas tank to clean out anything that may have been gummed in the fuel system.
