Yes, you have a d16y8. I would reccomend Denso Iridium plugs, they are more than most plugs but my car, with a B16 runs much better than it did with either bosch platinum 4s or NGK Rs. You may also want to upgrade or at least replace the spark plug wires.

thanks, but how about SPLITFIRE Platinum ones? I've heard they're good? also, should I just get the plugs, or do i ned to chnage the stock wiring? how much would be the effect on my mileage and throttle responce with the plugs changed, knowing i have a cold air intake installed.

thnaks

the best you can get is just NGK stock ones Honda did this out VERY well.

Eriks racing has had 300HP allmotor cars running ALL honda OEM *NGK* electronics from wires to plugs starter etc.

splitfire are great for my jeep I had boshc plat fours car ran like ass.
NGK if you need to bling for that mental feel get ngk iridium plugs.

thanks Max, searched NGK, impressive product.
Just a last question, my wheels aren't tuned much and im in for a smooth drive, an improved throttle response over the stock( slight will do as long as it can be felt) and better fuel consumption, so which one would you recommend

NGK IRIDIUM or SPLITFIRE PLATINIUM?
also do I need to get the wiring, or plugs would do?

Thanks

Depending on age of wires it might be a good time to get another set of them you're already under the hood and taking that apart anyway.

I have the NGK Iridiums on my hatch and my last set were plain jane .89 cents NGK. I couldn't feel or notice any change and i'm running quite high 11.3:1 comp ratio. I picked up the Iriduims because they were on sale and was wondering if worth the extra money frankly they arn't but still a very nice plug.

Splitfires I run in my truck and wow that I honestly could feel then again jeeps have some shoddy wiring  .

I'm with Ace, the factory NGK ones are the best plugs you can use.
