So I got a little bored today and tried to take some pictures of my car. I did wash it, but apparently all the soap didn't rinse off or something so it still looks like shit.
Yes, I have one mudflap, yes my exhaust WAS done on a Friday, yes my mouldings are so fucking faded they're turning white, yes the car is pretty ugly. BUT, I do love it and it is my baby.

EF - The rims are actually black on one side of the car and bronze on the other side. :p I was indecisive.
And the lights are just like that, they are DRLs because here in Canada it's law if the car was built after 89 to have daytime runners.

EDIT: If I did chop the tail pipe, could I keep it straight with a pipe cutter or should I might as well use a hacksaw or something?! I'd like to chop it, but when it comes time to do it I usually figure I'll go to a different setup in a year or so anyway.

i think a pipe cutter would be the cleanest or you could try a hack saw and put a chrome tip on to hide the shitty cut. lol.

Take a hose clamp, put it on the pipe, then cut it with a hack saw alone the edge of the clamp. The cut will be perfectly strait because the hose clamp will center itself. Debur it with some sand paper or a file and your good to go.

i like the "stock" looking engine bay. the headlights are pretty cool also, i saw you had to have runing lights in canada but are they low beems or how is it setup?

what brand strut bar do you have under your hood?

Where did you get those amber corners? I can't find them anywhere for the 90-91, all I find are 88-89's. Did you paint them?

it's easy, just get "tamiya clear orange" spray paint from a hobby store and also clear coat spray. clean the clear or oem lens, spray on the orange, let dry and spray on the clear coat. let it dry and put them on.

that exhaust tip sticks out pretty far in that 3rd pic LOL...

Teh headlights aren't lowbeams also, they are just my daytime runners. When I turn on my headlights the regular lights switch, and highbeam they both turn on, and get brighter.

The strut bar is a cheap-o one.. I don't know what kind.

The corners are APC, I got them off e-bay.

I can make my headlights do that, I dont know if its just my car or all 88-91 civic/crx's..probably just my car...I can also remove my key when the car is on...pretty usefull sometimes.

Mine doesnt do that either, but I had an escort that did, I dont know if my other escort does that or not, I'v never drove it. Also have a car that you can just turn the iggnition by hand and it will start.

The black roof isn't for everyone, but I love it.

The rims aren't Panas (I wish) but a knock-off from Black Racing. They're only 9lbs though.
