91 Lesabre won't start

I need your help again guys. I've got a 91 Lesabre with 220K miles that won't start. Here's the info leading up to this. It all started with the car overheating. I replaced the thermostat, hoses, and radiator. The car was running a little rough but not overheating. I replaced the and Oxygen sensor. Then, out of no where, the harmonic balancer goes bad. I replaced it and the crankshaft sensor. While I was at it, I replaced the plugs as well. Still idling a little rough but running. My son drove it to college, an hour away, and had it there for a couple of weeks. After parking it one day, he went out the next morning and it wouldn't start. The engine spins and acts like it wants to start but just won't catch. Now, I've replaced the starter (since he burnt it up trying to start it), fuel filter, changed the crankshaft sensor, coolant temperature sensor and the camshaft sensor. I do have fire going to the 1st plug (the only one I checked), I've checked the coil packs and read 12.23 ohms across each pack, I've taken one fuel line off the fuel rail and seemed to have plenty of pressure with the key on. I'm at a complete loss here. The only thing that I can think of that's left is that it has jumped time. Any other ideas?

If you have good fire, you need to check fuel pressure at the fuel rail. You should have 38-45 psi on the rail. It sounds like low pressure, you have some fuel in the system, however not enough to start the engine. You could also check for codes to see if any were stored while it was running. Lack of proper fuel pressure, will not show a code. :disappoin

If it was the timing chain, you should here some noise in the front cover while it is turning over. Do you know if the timing set has ever been replaced? If not, 220K is pushing it!

Doesn't AZ rent tools? Mine here does. They charge you the full price and the refund the full amount on return.

Thanks for the info on Harbor Freight. That's a nice tester with plenty of attachments for 12.99. While I was at it, I went ahead and picked up the idiot lights to test the injectors.

BTY, Autozone doesn't rent pressure testers.
