hey guys,
my 91" galant overheats when i dirve for about 45/1 hour. However, when the gauge for the temp. rises, i check the engine, and notice how the fan isn't running. could this be the case ? it is an electronic radiotr fan, and fuses are ok. what seems to be the problem?
any help is appreciated ! thanks .

the fan should be electric check fuses and temp switch but if you need to cool it in the meantime put your interior heaters on full (no matter how hot the day is) as this will take heat out the coolant. or if you put a wire between the terminals on yor temp switch it should put yor fan perminently. or you can take out your thermostst

by pass the fan switch at the bottom of the radiator and put a wire and make the fan run all the time and disprove or prove the fan if it's an issue or not by running it all the time.
if your a/c is operative, turn on your a/c and that will automatically start the fan and it should disprove whether your fan is an issue or not.
